With the motto 'Practice doning' HLA San Carlos He successfully completed his blood donation day last Friday. The main event of this campaign was organized by the Delegation in Alicante with a donation marathon held at the Archaeological Museum of Alicante (MARQ), where 442 people donated blood. The HLA hospitals San Carlos Office from Dénia, HLA La Vega from Murcia and HLA Los Naranjos from Huelva collected a total of 169 donations.
The initiative, organized together with the transfusion centers of each province, had the collaboration of several institutions of the respective provinces. Alicante City Council, Alicante Provincial Council and Banco Sabadell collaborated in Alicante, and aimed to raise awareness about the importance of donations and spread the idea among citizens that a donation can save three lives.
Collaboration of Pepe Rodríguez
After the donation, all the attendees who came to collaborate received a sandwich designed by chef Pepe Rodríguez. In addition, the Venezuelan singer Carlos Baute joined for the first time this initiative and, at the hand of ASISA, will offer a concert on July 5 at the Teatro Principal in Alicante.
