After years of claims of the Mercat Municipal posts and also of the users, the air conditioning and the electrical installation will repair this 2016. This was announced by the councilman of the area, Javier Scotto, Who explained that the Diputación de Alicante has awarded a grant of 187.500 euros to carry out the project of energetic improvement of the facilities.
This grant has already been requested by the previous government team with Vicente Chelet as councilor of the Mercat, but it was rejected when breaching in several points the bases of Delegation. Among other things, the previous project exceeded the maximum amount allowed (240.000 euros) and contemplated an action outside the objective of the subsidy.
The good news was moved this week at the assembly meeting, which explained the modification of the initial project and the steps to follow until the work is done. The intention of the City is that the works are done before the summer, since they understand that it is "common sense" That in summer it is repaired the problem with the air conditioning.
According to Scotto, these works will not only allow an estimated energy savings in the 20%, but also will save on the maintenance of equipment and environmental rates.
