The Social Center of Dénia will host, Next November 6, a concert tribute to the soprano Victoria de los Ángeles.
La Victoria Foundation of Los Angeles, Along with the council of culture of the City of Denia and the Superior School of Music of Catalonia (ESMUC) will present on stage an important sample of the best of the Spanish opera scene. Fourteen students of the ESMUC will be in charge of honoring the soprano, among them the Carmen Donaire Romero. The program will be very varied, offering arias and zarzuelas, among others, and also in terms of formations, since we will find both soloists as duos, trios or quartets.
Dénia has been the chosen point for the start of the tour that will tour the Spanish geography honoring the soprano, deceased in 2005 and with an intense connection with the city.
The concert will start at 20: 30 and the entrance will be gratiuta, limited to the capacity of the venue.
A LEGACY TO SHARE
The Victoria de los Ángeles Foundation was born with the philosophy of making available to future generations a cultural legacy that goes beyond a simple concept of vocal school or a singing style.
Through this foundational project, we intend to make known to the students and dilettantes in general a global idea of what the artist was, not only as an exceptional performer but also as a great musician in the broadest sense, as a precursor and innovator in their Gender and who knew how to add great doses of professionalism and ethics, not forgetting the human characteristics that reflected a real image of Victoria de los Angeles through which you can understand the magnitude of the character.
