The PP of Dénia presents its great electoral project, the new bus station
The Popular Party of Dénia has presented today the great project that has been planned for the new bus station in the Dianense city. It is an intermodal bus station that aims to “centralize all means of transport, be it train, buses or the boat “la Panseta”. That is to say, that once in Dénia you can move without problems to the other access points. The project will be located between Patricio Ferrándiz and Manuel Lattur streets, at a point very close to the urban center and where the old La Rosaleda cinema was located.
The new bus terminal will put an end to the problem of the provisional bus station promoted by the socialist government almost 5 years ago. Goodbye to the summer oven, to the winter rains, to the passengers on the road and to the closed toilets, among a host of inconveniences that have been generated since the opening of this bus station on May 7, 2018.
Currently, the bus station has 1.580 m2 and a space that accommodates only 8 buses. With the new station proposed by the Popular Party of Dénia these figures will be considerably increased.
“We will go from 1.580 m2 to 2.340 m2, thus expanding the bus entry capacity to 12 vehicles. It will not be a station to use, since the building will have four floors and an attic that will provide Dénia with a new public parking, with some 350 parking spaces for cars. This terminal will also have public toilets and offices for ticket sales. In addition, advanced technologies will be used with mobile applications that provide information on services in real time and free Wi-Fi connection.
In this way, a solution will be given to two great milestones in the Dianense city; a bus station in good condition and more public parking spaces.
Likewise, the PP of Dénia will pay homage to the La Rosaleda summer cinema and will give the name "La Rosaleda Station" to this new infrastructure.
Pepa Font has concluded the presentation of the bus station that Dénia deserves, insisting that "my great goal will be to improve the quality of life of all citizens, making Dénia a more modern, sustainable and connected city where it is easier to move to live, work and enjoy”.
