The Popular of Dénia denounce that the Christmas lights are not yet put in the city. The specifications that the City Council put out to tender specified that the lights should be in operation on the 26th of
November at 20 pm, but "we are already a week late in the start-up of the Christmas lighting", denounces the spokesperson for the group María Mut.
Mut señala que «si la contratación se inicia con una semana de retraso es normal que las luces no estén puestas aún. Lo que no es lógico es que, sabiendo con tanta antelación para cuándo deberían estar instaladas las luces navideñas, a día de hoy todavía no estén puestas. Si el proceso de adjudicación se inicia con retraso, es lógico que no se llegue a tiempo. Otra vez, llegan tarde y mal por una mala gestión. Hoy empieza a llegar mucha gente a nuestra ciudad para disfrutar del puente y del DNA y se van a encontrar una ciudad desangelada sin ningún tipo de espíritu navideño».
