The rich flora offered by the Park Torrecremada has reached a total of 160 5º primary students of Cervantes, colleges and Llebeig PaidosWho for seven days they have participated in environmental interpretation activities scheduled from the Department of Environment.
Divided into working groups, the students have done different tasks to know the park as a living ecosystem and its characteristics. They have known the animals that inhabit it, economic activities that are associated with the main trees of the park and the differences between a Mediterranean park and one exotic.
A must visit were the urban gardens, where they learned about the vegetables planted, the types of irrigation or the ecological crops, and where they also had the opportunity to plant an aromatic herb in a pot to help in environmental improvement.
