Bad weather did not stop the occupation of Easter reach the 80%

Although the weather has not accompanied us, Dénia has collected the best data of Holy Week since the economic crisis began. The dianenses merchants have been more than satisfied with this campaign, more taking into account that next weekend, with the bridge of May, the figures promise to be similar.

Data collected by the city hotel occupancy placed between 75 and 90%. About 1.700 people have passed through the Tourist Office, of which almost 56% were Spanish, being a Madrid 44% visitors, 31% 9% Valencians and Catalans.

Internationally, an 34% of visitors came from the United Kingdom, followed by France (30,5%) and Germany (27%).

The fact that the bad weather reigned encouraged tourists and visitors to put aside the beach and go shopping.

Easter is an important advance how it will be summer, so the expectations are very good heading into the summer dates.
