This Friday, a huge stage, the likes of which has rarely been seen in the place, was installed in the Plaça del Consell de Dénia. An unusual location for this type of structure, since much smaller stages are normally used in the square. However, the occasion deserved it since the new music festival in Valencian in the capital of the region would be born on it. Marina Alta.
Within the programming of the Nou d'Octubre of Dénia, this year from Joventut they decided to bet on the creation of a music festival to expand the youth cultural offer that for some years has accompanied the Dia dels Valencians i les Valencianes. They named it LlenguaFest and for this first contact they turned to Novembre Elèctric, Esther and Sa Pena.
The show offered by the groups and artists lived up to what has many potential to be, in the future, an event that returns Dénia to the map of the Valencian music industry. And despite all the buts which the city falls into every time it organizes an event of this type (no bars, no toilets, prohibiting groups from selling their merchandising), managed to capture the attention of many residents who followed the performances from the all-too-tempting steps of the Consell.
Although in this first edition it may seem like a minor proposal within the extensive program full of events, on stage the potential that the festival has was demonstrated and how very important it is to invest in it until it is established in the fall concert calendar.
