Since two years ago the Hospital of Dénia implemented this computer system, it has become a "paperless" hospital, in addition to achieve 6 7 level on the HIMMS, becoming the first Spanish hospital to reach such a high score.
Electronic medical records of Hospital de Dénia is one of the few in our country that integrates clinical episodes of each patient and associates all kinds of examinations, surgeries, medications, high and outpatient. Moreover, all these data are available anywhere in the hospital and 11 offices that comprise the health network Dénia Department of Health. Physicians can also access it through a secure channel from the Internet.
Ángel Giménez, director of the hospital, will go to Madrid next Tuesday 4 in October to collect the award.
