The FIC becomes intergenerational and moved its celebration parties Dénia

Children's Song Festival this year celebrates its twelfth edition and does so with important developments that occurred yesterday.

The first is that the Festival changes its name and becomes Intergenerational Song Festival, opening its doors to all age groups. Thus, this edition will be three categories of contestants: Children (6 to 12 of years), youth (13 to 20 of years) and adults (from 21 years).

Another new feature is the change of date as it passes to be made later this year to be part of the programming week holiday in Denia. This year will be on Friday, July 4 prior to entry of bulls the first day, when the festival is held.

In addition, taking advantage of the infrastructure that is assembled during the week of festivities, the Festival will be held on the street La Vía, greatly expanding its capacity compared to last year, when it was held at the Social Center.

This year there will be a prize category consisting of vouchers to redeem in Dénia establishment of 125 euros worth in Children; 150 200 euros in Youth and Adult euros in the category.

Juan Carlos Benlloch will be in charge of the selection and training of the participants, who can register from next Monday 10 in February to the 4 in April at the Llunàtics facilities. The April 5 will be a closed door casting that will be recorded on video in which applicants must interpret two topics, one of them in Spanish. From the organization remember that the winners of previous years can not be presented in the same category to compete.

The jury will select six contestants by category will receive singing lessons, choreography and attitude on stage for three months Artistics facilities.

The 2014 edition of the Festival was presented by the youth councilor, Isabel Gallego, the mayor of Dénia, Ana Kringe, and the festival coordinator, Juan Carlos Benlloch.
