Children's Song Festival this year celebrates its twelfth edition and does so with important developments that occurred yesterday.
The first is that the Festival changes its name and becomes Intergenerational Song Festival, opening its doors to all age groups. Thus, this edition will be three categories of contestants: Children (6 to 12 of years), youth (13 to 20 of years) and adults (from 21 years).
Another novelty is its change of date, since it goes from being held at the end of the year to being part of the programming for the week of Dénia parties. This year it will be on Friday, July 4, the day before the first bullfight, when the Festival is held.
In addition, taking advantage of the infrastructure that is assembled during the week of festivities, the Festival will be held on the street La Vía, greatly expanding its capacity compared to last year, when it was held at the Social Center.
This year there will be a prize category consisting of vouchers to redeem in Dénia establishment of 125 euros worth in Children; 150 200 euros in Youth and Adult euros in the category.
Juan Carlos Benlloch will be in charge of the selection and training of the participants, who can register from next Monday 10 in February to the 4 in April at the Llunàtics facilities. The April 5 will be a closed door casting that will be recorded on video in which applicants must interpret two topics, one of them in Spanish.
