The state of alarm in Dénia: how does it affect us?

14 March 2020 - 14: 47

What does the state of alarm mean for Dénia? What do the measures taken by the Government imply? We already know the concrete decisions.

The Council of Ministers has decreed exceptional measures in the face of the coronavirus health crisis. The alarm status will limit movement, but with many exceptions and from next Monday. This was announced by Pedro Sánchez in his appearance a few minutes ago.

The displacements will be limited for a minimum of 15 days, a period that to be extended will require approval in Congress. But it is true that it has many exceptions: travel to buy food, pharmaceuticals and basic necessities; assistance to health centers, commuting to the workplace to carry out their work, professional or business provision; return to the habitual place of residence; assistance and care for the elderly, minors, dependents, people with disabilities or especially vulnerable people; displacement to financial entities; due to force majeure or need situation; and any other activity of an analogous nature duly justified.

Individual responsibility is a very important factor in managing this health alert: staying at home, not using parks, avoiding social gatherings and keeping a safe distance of one meter, as well as following hygiene recommendations.
