The athlete Dianense Álex Monllor is preparing his last week of training before leaving next Thursday to German lands, specifically to Berlin, where he will participate in his seventh marathon.
At his 33 years, this athlete has a lot of experience in the premier race of athletics, not in vain and to his credit has finished the tests of New York, Rome, Amsterdam, this at an international level. But they are joined by the nationals of Castellón, Barcelona and Vías Verdes.
Álex Monllor is a true adventurer who dares with mountain races but also with others whose effort is total. At the limit he put his body on the test of Desert Run, a test that consists of 3 stages of 15, 21 and 26 kilometers in the desert of Sahára, where Monllor ended up occupying the eleventh position of the absolute general.
Goal to make the 6 great marathons
In his mind he has the challenge of doing the six great marathons of the world, for the moment, after New York he goes for the second, Berlin and he would be left; Boston, Chicago, London and Tokyo. Fulfilling his dream is complicated because it means a great effort, not only physical, that takes it well thanks to his preparation, but economic, having no sponsor. His trips cost them from his own pocket, saving and subtracting from other quirks. The only help that he perceives is that the sportswear is provided by Josef Ajram, another adventurous athlete like him.
After all the summer preparing for the test he hopes to improve his brands, for this he has worked both physically, mentally and also food, since he has taken care to the maximum.
