The new Autonomic Male Senior Project of the Dénia Básquet for the season 2015-16 set off with victory against Altea in the Lliga Valenciana, preseason competition sponsored by the Basketball Federation of the Valencian Community.
After a first part dominated from beginning to end by the dianenses, who got to distance themselves by seventeen points, the visitors reacted finishing the third period to only three points of distance in the marker.
In the last period the Dénia Básquet resumed the command imposing his good defense and solidity in the rebound to ensure a victory in the beginning of the Valencian Lliga (80-67).
This game, of great sports level, was very valid to better assess the team's chances this season.
With respect to the previous year, Coach Xavier Mesegue and players Raúl Moreno, Rubén Velazquez, Francesc Monfort and recovered from his long shoulder injury, Patrick Sawicki, Jordi Soler and Paco Roselló.

The main additions to the team will be guard Miquel Server, a player born in Pego who returns to the Marina Alta after concluding his studies in Valencia, and the veteran center Vicent Pastor, a Valencian who has settled for some years in Xàbia that comes to reinforce the inner game of the team.
He also returned after a year out of Spain the base formed in the house Javier Gil and up to the first team Sofian Sadoki and Borja Gonzalez-Albo from the Junior team of the Club to which they belong from the category Alevín.
