After the approval of its constitution last September, the Consell de Comerç de Dénia is already a reality.
Made up of the departments of Commerce, Tourism, Culture, Festivals, Local Agenda 21, Services and Government; the political groups of the City Council; the local associations of merchants (Venedors del Mercat Municipal, Carrer Loreto-Centre Històric, Association of Merchants and Entrepreneurs of Dénia and A Cel Obert); the Marina Alta Association of Hospitality and Tourism Entrepreneurs (Aehtma); the Circle of Entrepreneurs (Cedma); the General Directorate of Commerce; the Council of Chambers of Commerce of the Valencian Community and municipal technical personnel, the Consell de Comerç will meet regularly once a year to analyze the economic activities carried out and establish a work schedule.
The Consell de Comerç was born with the aim of promoting the commercial attractiveness of the city, improving the conditions for the realization of commercial activity; favor the creation and maintenance of the companies and the economic activity of the city and contribute to create a commercial infrastructure in the municipality that is competitive.
