After the approval of its constitution last September, the Consell de Comerç de Dénia is already a reality.
Integrated by the councils of Commerce, Tourism, Culture, Parties, Agenda 21 Local, Services and Governance; the political groups of the City Council; the local associations of merchants (Venedors del Mercat Municipal, Carrer Loreto-Center Històric, Association of Merchants and Entrepreneurs Dénia and A Cel Obert); the Association of Hospitality and Tourism Entrepreneurs of the Marina Alta (Ahtma); the Circle of Entrepreneurs (Cedma); the General Directorate of Commerce; the Council of Chambers of Commerce of the Valencian Community and municipal technical personnel, the Consell de Comerç will meet in an ordinary manner once a year to analyze the economic activities carried out and establish a work schedule.
The Consell de Comerç was born with the aim of promoting the commercial attractiveness of the city, improving the conditions for the realization of commercial activity; favor the creation and maintenance of the companies and the economic activity of the city and contribute to create a commercial infrastructure in the municipality that is competitive.
