The School Council of the CPM Tenor Cortis of Dénia demands that the City Council construct a new building

The School Council of the Tenor Cortis Professional Conservatory of Music of Dénia, in its last meeting on January 26, agreed to draft a letter addressed to the Dénia City Council that was sent the same day, referring to the "urgent need to build a new building” and from which they have not yet received a response.

The letter sent to the Dénia City Council asked the council when the construction will be completed and when the new facilities can be used.

They report that on March 8, 2023, the Needs Program was signed by the Generalitat Valenciana, and from then on the Dénia City Council will be responsible for putting the construction out to tender. On July 13, the Valencian Map of Actions in Educational Infrastructure appeared, which included construction.

From the conservatory they describe the construction needs as "a historically perpetuated lack": first in the Municipal House of Culture, then in the Casa de la Marquesa and then in the building on Temple de Sant Telm street n. 9, where they denounce that "students and teachers make an effort and work hard so that students suffer as little as possible from the deficiencies of a building that remains small, inappropriate, inappropriate and obsolete."

The expansion to the intermediate level and the expansion to the main instrumental specialties was reached in June 1995 and finally the singing specialty arrived. which gives the importance of the name it takes, the Professional Conservatory of Music Tenor Cortis, in the 19-20 academic year.
