The Costablanca Rotary Club of Alicante is preparing the "Superniños Day", An activity that the next September 17 aims to bring together many families in the Scout base of Dénia, located in the polygon. There from the 10: 30 hours will be held workshops and children's games, carriage rides pulled by horses and a giant fideuá for 200 people. This is an activity promoted to raise funds for the Aspanion Foundation. In the month of May, 2016 was awarded 10.000 € as the result of this work.
Initially from this club the day was oriented as a playful act and to offer children affected by cancer and their families a resource to facilitate access and participation in leisure and free time activities. Because this is one of the many objectives that the Aspanion Foundation has, which founded in 1984 has been achieving for 32 years in the Valencian Community "contribute to the best state, both medical and existential, psychological and social of children and their parents, working so that their emotional, emotional and educational development is best suited to their special circumstances", literally citing its main objective.
The Aspanion Foundation is financed by membership fees and collaborations from local councils, foundations, companies and individuals and is therefore always grateful to be given a hand in the maintenance of its activities, specifically the program of free accommodation in flats ( Valencia and Alicante). The reception floors are a very important resource within the services provided by the Foundation. Offering free accommodation to displaced families, as well as avoiding unnecessary income for children and adolescents in the hospital, is one of the priority objectives.
The shelter floor is a home where coverage is given to the need for accommodation and other services and that replaces the home during the time of stay in it. It is not a hotel, a residence or a hospital, but it has always been intended to be a space to live with people in similar circumstances, achieving a pleasant and relaxed atmosphere among the people who use it. In the floors you can cover a series of services such as: accommodation, toilet, kitchen, laundry, food storage, etc., these services being free for all families of affected children.
From the Rotary Club Costablanca think that a small collaboration for this program could be the ideal complement of the day. With the amount of the entrance, the food and drink will finance the help to the floors and with the rides in the carriages, the horses and the workshops want to make them an unforgettable day.
