BLOC require inspections in schools

After the events that occurred in the Alicante municipality of Santa Pola last week, when the floor of a school sank causing several injuries, the BLOC-Compromís group in Dénia has announced that it will present a motion to demand that the Generalitat inspect the educational centers from the city.

Its councilor, Josep Crespo, denounced that the Department of Education does not have its own technicians for the prevention of occupational hazards who can evaluate the status of the centers since since 2012 they have become part of the Valencian Institute of Safety and Health at Work. These technicians in their day accredited more than 200 documents that showed deficiencies in the educational centers, although today it is unknown which are those centers.
