The City Council and the Red Cross Dianense renew their collaboration agreement

The mayor, Ana Kringe, and the special delegate of the Dénia Red Cross local assembly, José Francisco Montiel, have signed the Dénia City Council's framework collaboration agreement in the Red Cross intervention plans for 2014. The consistory contribution Dianense to the development of the programs and projects carried out by the Red Cross amounts to 72.000 euros.

The actions that the institution directed by Montiel carries out are framed within three main areas. Interventions in relief and emergencies, in which its volunteers, vehicles, boats and various equipment will be made available to the city council. This section also includes health care in the activities that take place during the Festa Major, such as bous a la mar, concerts or correfocs, in fallas, during the celebration of recreational and sports activities or in the Three Kings parade.

Another area of ​​intervention Dénia Red Cross is social, with particular attention to the most vulnerable groups. In collaboration with the Ajuntament de Dénia, the local assembly will serve the home telecare, transport adapted and expanded during the term of the agreement service vehicle adapted for the Day Center on schedule tomorrow also.

Finally, Cruz Roja Dénia develops specific programs in the field of youth, with an occupational nature of free time, such as camping or didactic workshops.

The contribution of Dénia City Council to develop all these programs and projects is 72.000 euros.
