The mayor, Ana KringeAnd the special delegate of the local assembly of Dénia Red Cross, José Francisco Montiel, have signed the framework of cooperation of the City of Dénia in the intervention plans Red Cross for the year 2014 agreement. The consistory Dianense contribution to the development of programs and projects carried out by Red Cross amounts to 72.000 euros.
The actions that the institution led by Montiel carries out are framed within three large areas. Interventions in relief and emergencies, in which its volunteers, vehicles, boats and various equipment will be made available to the city council. This section also includes health care in the activities that take place during the Festa Major, such as Bous a la Mar, concerts or correfocs, in failures, during the celebration of recreational and sports activities or in the Kings Parade.
Another area of intervention Dénia Red Cross is social, with particular attention to the most vulnerable groups. In collaboration with the Ajuntament de Dénia, the local assembly will serve the home telecare, transport adapted and expanded during the term of the agreement service vehicle adapted for the Day Center on schedule tomorrow also.
Finally, Cruz Roja Dénia develops specific programs in the field of youth, with an occupational nature of free time, such as camping or didactic workshops.
The contribution of Dénia City Council to develop all these programs and projects is 72.000 euros.
