The City will open file to one of the companies awarded the hammock service after not attending the posts

The City of Dénia has announced the opening of a file to the company that was awarded the hammock service on the beaches of Bovetes and Les Marines, at the height of Esparver Street, after two days without opening.

As reported by the Councilor for Citizens Sergio Benito, the company awarded the hammock positions corresponding to lots C06 and C08 has announced its resignation to continue with the exploitation, and now, the City Council has opened a file to determine, according to law and the Contract specifications, the consequences for the winning company, which could lead to the application of penalties. It will also start the award to the next bidder as soon as possible if that is effective at this point in the season.

Benito has reported that "In Dénia there is an enormous inertia of doing the wrong things that has led, in various fields, to make certain individuals think that they have privileges when dealing with the administration".
