Dénia City Council, in collaboration with Aqualia, has carried out a symbolic initiative to mark the International Day for the Eradication of Violence against Women. From noon on Friday, November 24 and throughout the day on Saturday the 25th, the water at the fountain at the entrance to Dénia on the CV-725 will be dyed purple in a forceful gesture against sexist violence. "Every person, like every drop of water, counts to join the fight against this social scourge," he highlights. Javier Scotto, Councilor for Equality.
This action aims to visualize Dénia's commitment to equality between women and men, as well as reaffirm its commitment to being a municipality free of gender violence.
I paint a bench pink, we put some flags on the Town Hall and we make some cheesy gestures with the water
WE HAVE ALREADY WORKED. We are going to eat some prawns
Progressive politics. Money belongs to everyone
Absolutely right, and 25% more deaths. But they are super happy!!
Unfortunately this does not change anything and is an expense, nor does it help anyone, they could use the money to directly help the victims of gender violence, instead of all the nonsense in which they waste money. It is not so difficult.
