The Dénia Health Department, on which the entire Marina Alta depends, is the one with the highest rate of coronavirus infections among its workers in the entire Valencian Community. According to a report from the Nursing Union, contagion between doctors and nurses at Dénia Hospital is 30% of all cases in the region.
The report details the situation of the toilets from the start of the pandemic until last April 23, Thursday, when the department had 196 infections and 17 deaths. Of those 196, 60 would be hospital workers, according to the union.
According to the data available at the moment, 201 are already the cases in the Marina Alta. It is unknown how many of these 5 new infections correspond to the staff of the health department.
