The Department of Health of Dénia, on which all the Marina Alta, is the one with the highest rate of coronavirus infections among its workers in the entire Valencian Community. According to a report from the Nursing Union, the contagion between doctors and nurses of the Hospital de Dénia it is 30% of the total cases in the region.
The report details the situation of the toilets from the start of the pandemic until last April 23, Thursday, when the department had 196 infections and 17 deaths. Of those 196, 60 would be hospital workers, according to the union.
According to the data available at the moment, 201 are already the cases in the Marina Alta. It is unknown how many of these 5 new infections correspond to the staff of the health department.
