The City of Dénia and Alicante Transfusion Center organized a year, and there are already three editions, the Blood Donation Marathon Denia. It will be on Friday, April 29, and the extraction unit will be installed in the former Tourist Office in Plaza Oculista Buigues.
This third year is expected to maintain the good collection figures of the previous two years -201 extractions valid in 2009 and 186 in 2010- with the help of all citizens who wish and are able to collaborate.
Throughout the morning, also Dénia Radio broadcast special programming from around the old tourist office, far transferred its mobile unit for counting first hand the atmosphere we live in the marathon.
To donate you need to have between 18 and 65 years 50 kilos weigh more than not be fasting and good health.
