Two tons of plastic caps to help children with medical needs

Last April, the Federació Marina Alta Solidaria launched a campaign to collect plastic plugs to help children in the region with specific medical or orthopedic needs that can not be accessed due to lack of financial resources. .

Five months after he ripped this initiative, we have collected more than two tons of plugs that are currently going to help a child suffering from leukodystrophy 8 years from birth. The treatment consists in the implantation need growth hormone to achieve significant progress, but with a cost of 2.000 euros monthly family is increasingly difficult to pull it off.
