Agents from the National Police Station in Dénia heard a statement from the person responsible and head of an important work that is being carried out in the municipality of Dénia as he stated that an employee of his had caused a series of damages to the aforementioned work as retaliation. due to an economic issue after his dismissal.
According to the complainant, days ago, both he and another employee had a heated argument with this man over some financial disagreements that turned into nothing more than words.
That same night, the former worker decided to take justice into his own hands and went to the construction site to set fire to several pallets and formwork boards, as well as a container, in addition to damaging pipes and water pumps.
Before a team of firefighters arrived to put out the fire, the alleged perpetrator seriously threatened the security guard who surprised him at the scene, making threats against his physical integrity.
The amount of damage, which amounts to just over 3500 euros, was one of the reasons why agents assigned to the Judicial Police Group of the National Police Station in Dénia decided to fully identify the alleged perpetrator of the events, a male of nationality Spanish and 49 years old for the crimes of serious damage and threats.
Once identified and located, his arrest was carried out by processing the appropriate procedures that were made available to the Investigating Court acting as the Dénia Guard.
