The Citizen Security Brigade of the National Police in Dénia arrested two people in the early hours of today, when they were preparing to access a restaurant illegally, after receiving the alert of an alarm going off in the establishment located on Camí Pou de la Muntanya in Dénia.
Agents of the National Police, commissioned by Room CIMACC-091, immediately went to the scene, adopting discreet measures to avoid alerting the alleged perpetrators. Upon arriving near the restaurant, the agents observed two individuals, both wearing hoods and gloves, forcing the access gate to the establishment without realizing the police presence.
In a quick and coordinated movement, the agents of the Citizen Assistance Group (GAC) jumped over a wall that separated them from the suspects, proceeding to arrest both for an alleged crime of attempted robbery in a commercial establishment. During the intervention, tools such as iron crowbars, clothing used to hide their identities, as well as other tools related to the perpetration of the criminal act were seized.
The detainees, aged 32 and 24, were transferred and placed at the disposal of the Dénia Police Court of Investigation. At the court hearing, the procedural situation of the individuals will be determined, who face charges of attempted robbery with force in a commercial establishment.
