The Santa Llúcia de Dénia nursing home has detected the first cases of the Ómicron variant among residents. Specifically, there are currently four confirmed cases, none serious, and another eight under observation.
Given this situation, the center initiates precautionary measures such as the closure, until further notice, of the Day Center and visits and exits from the residence are restricted.
As always, the families of the residents are receiving regular information from the management of the center about the evolution of the situation privately.
What happened? They were not all vaccinated? They should require full vaccination of the elderly and staff as well as all visitors. So surely there would be no problem.
