The members of the Valencian Language Academy who are part of the Maria Ibars Commission, Writer of the Year 2024, have held a working meeting with representatives of the Dénia City Council to collaborate and plan the activities that will be carried out to honor the writer of the Marina Alta.
The president and academic, Verònica Cantó, and the academics M. Àngels Francés and Tudi Torró participated on behalf of the AVL.
The participants from the City Council were the mayor, Vicent Grimalt; the vice mayor, Rafael Carrió; the Councilor for Culture, Raúl García de la Reina; the Culture technique; Maribel Font; the Linguistic Normalization technician, Mar Reus, and the Library technician, Llúcia Signes. Likewise, the municipal archivist was present. Rosa Seser and the writer Carles Mulet, who will be the curators of the traveling exhibition.
