the mayor of dénia, Ana KringeAnd Councilwoman social welfare, Pepa Sivera, This week signed several agreements with the Foundation for Analysis, Study and Prevention of Addictions of Valencia (AEPA) for the year 2013.
The first one is aimed at the hiring by AEPA of a support psychologist for the execution of the programs carried out in the Community Prevention in Addictive Behaviors Unit (UPCCA) of the Ajuntament de Dénia.
The second is intended for the implementation of the program operation Day Center Dénia for drug addicts during 2013 according to which the foundation will develop various action programs aimed, on the one hand, to provide individual and group counseling to people with addiction problems who come to the Day Center.
Dénia City Council provides a total of 31.000 euros for both conventions.
The AEPA Foundation manages the operation of Day Care Center for patients in treatment for addictions since June 2004 year. The center has a total of 50 places contracted by Ministry of health and its maintenance works council. Coverage is local day center.
