Dénia temporarily suspends licenses in several areas of incompatibility with the PGE

Next Tuesday October 18, and in an extraordinary plenary session, the Dénia City Council will approve the temporary suspension of urban planning licenses in various areas of the municipal term. The Councilor for Territory and Urban Quality, Maria Josep Ripoll, accompanied by the Councilor for the Environment, Josep Crespo, announced this measure that justified «para no poner en peligro la materialización de las propuestas que estamos barajando en la elaboración del Plan General Estructural».

According to Ripoll, this preventive suspension «está muy acotada» and it affects mainly the areas where the provisions of the current urban transitional arrangements applicable until the entry into force of the new General Plan differs from the proposals are working on the PGE.

Some of the areas where you will apply this precautionary suspension of licenses are located in the vicinity of the municipal sports center, to develop the proposed expansion of sports facilities posed by the General Structural Plan; The Bosc de Diana, which is to equip the floor of another building typology; or the park road (old Ronda Norte), where there are also differences between the current floor and PGE proposals.
