Dénia will host the closing of the European project GPS.Comenius

Next May, Dénia will host the closure of the European GPS.Comenius project that has been coordinating the Paidos school since 2013. Along with the Dianense school, four other educational centers from Germany, Hungary, Poland and Romania.

This project's main objective is to sensitize students, teachers and school community of European cultural and natural heritage and linguistic diversity, showing other cultures and lifestyles and promoting, in any case, the European dimension.

Through the Geocaching -Location of 'treasures' from geographic coordinates using the GPS- students discover the five European centers, virtual and physical way, the cultural and historical heritage around us.

During this week the organizers of the project have met with the mayor, Ana Kringe, and the councilor for education, Pepa Sivera, to coordinate the activities of the closing, which will include an official reception for the participants in the town hall.
