These results from last year correspond, on the one hand, to lower spending than initially budgeted, which is accompanied by an increase in expected income. Roselló has cited as examples the reduction in spending on current goods and services, "of the 25 million budgeted, we have spent 19, which implies a saving of 25%). The same has happened with the financial expense, forecast at 1.078.000 euros and which has finally been 902.000 (a 15,8% saving).

Regarding investments, the real execution in 2021 has been 76%, according to the councilor. There was a budget of 16 million euros, of which 6,9 million euros correspond to investments from the Pla Edificant of the Generalitat Valenciana. Therefore, the investment budget to be executed by the local government was 9.038.000 euros, of which 4.866.000 have finally been executed. To this figure it must be added that this year projects awarded in 2021 but that had not been invoiced, amounting to 1.993.000 million euros, are incorporated into the remainder. The sum of both concepts reveals that investments have been made amounting to 6.860.000 euros of the 9 million planned, that is, 76% of the total.

With regard to income, indirect taxes, specifically the construction tax (ICIO) have increased by 60% in 2021, going from 1,3 million euros budgeted to 2168.000 euros paid. The collection of current rates has also experienced an increase of 10%, finally being 13 million euros.

In relation to what will be the destination of the remaining cash, Paco Roselló has pointed out that 2.178.584 euros will be allocated to new investments such as the Museu de la Festa (€300.000), the renovation of the Madrigueres track (€110.000) , the construction of a themed slide park (€100.000), or an urban circuit for runners and another for bicycles.

Social spending occupies an important section in investments with the remainder of the treasury and increases notably. 150.000 euros will be allocated to social spending; 100.000 euros to create an initial budget item for a municipal housing stock and 50.000 euros more to the budget for trade and market aid.
