Dénia City Council has already begun conditioning work classrooms for children in schools 2 years Les Vessanes and Cervantes to be put into operation this year.
The two Dianense centers are part of the 33 schools in the Valencian Community selected to implement this free public education program for 2-year-olds announced yesterday by the president Ximo Puig. The intention of the Autonomous Government is to increase the number of 2-year classrooms gradually over the next few years.
The proposal has been well received by the municipal government, which has already been put to work to adapt classrooms for the start of the course, scheduled for October 5. For this course 2015-2016, the Ministry will open an extraordinary registration period of the 14 to the 22 of September. The provisional list of admitted will be made public on the 24 of September and the definitive one on the 28 day. The program includes a ratio of 18 students per classroom and will allocate a teacher and an educator to each class.
