"Giving life is priceless": Dénia demonstrates its solidarity in the Blood Donation Marathon

27 September 2023 - 13: 09

Throughout today, Wednesday, the Dénia Social Center hosts the Blood Donation Marathon. An event of great importance as it offers the opportunity to the city's residents to help others, give life, and make known the importance of these small acts of solidarity.

During the first hours there have already been many who have come to the marathon to contribute their part this day. Also several members of the City Council, such as the mayor, Vicent Grimalt, who has already participated in the action.

The Health Councilor, Rafa Carrió, has highlighted the commendable work that is being carried out, remembering that with this edition it is already 15 years in which the marathon has been held in Dénia.

"Donating blood is life"

“Giving life is priceless,” Carrió pointed out this morning, insisting that “it is very important and fundamental to donate blood. It's life".

The vice mayor also thanked the involvement of the collaborating companies and associations that have contributed a series of gifts that will be raffled among all participants in the donation.

These marathons not only serve to bring donation mechanisms closer to citizens, but at the same time help to raise awareness and inform about the importance of donating blood, resolving the doubts of those who may be undecided. On this occasion, a campaign has also been carried out focused on Dénia athletes, so that they know whether or not they can collaborate and how to do so.

The facility will remain open until 13:30 p.m., resuming the marathon in the afternoon, from 16:45 p.m. to 20:30 p.m.

Is it relevant to have been vaccinated with the mNRA spike protein? Is it part of the data? Or is it all mixed up, because they think it doesn't matter? In Switzerland they have “pinless” blood banks.

It's always like that!! They like to show off and wear medals!!

Because they don't take photos next to the garbage containers, with the stench that we citizens endure. Ah! Only when they installed them brand new.
I will continue to bother them through complaints, suggestions, but directly at the City Council, although the answers are sometimes obscene, and others they don't even respond, because I think it is BIG BIG BIG for them.

!!!Political gentlemen: You insult our intelligence!!!

Seriously, do you have to take a photo donating blood?

It's like taking photos giving things to homeless children. There are gestures that should remain private, and not mere posturing, because in the end it seems that way. I posture. And let them do it so they can talk and comment on this gesture. If not, I don't understand. And don't tell me it's to set an example. Because they are nothing to set an example.
