One more year, Condenados al Bordillo puts into operation different workshops aimed at users of the TAPIS Pre-employment Adaptation and Social Insertion Workshop in Dénia, with the fundamental objective of enhancing personal resources and promoting the social skills of all its participants.
The main objectives of the activities are to promote and improve the functions of adjustment, dominance and body control, develop and encourage basic motor skills and encourage the development of social skills. The workshops began in September 2021 and will end in July 2022.
Physical Conditioning Workshop: The aim of this workshop is to improve the basic physical qualities that allow them greater functional independence and to make all its participants enjoy themselves is the objective of this workshop by carrying out physical and sports activities. It takes place at the Tapis every Thursday morning.
Group Dynamics Workshop: Since 2007, Condenados al Bordillo and El Tapis de Dénia have enjoyed this activity, carried out at IES Maria Ibars, thanks to the collaboration of the centre's volunteers and directed by Jaime Higueras, with the aim of promoting social relations among the volunteers and Tapis users and raise awareness of the realities of the functional diversity community.
Chikung Workshop (CFQ): this workshop, whose objective is to learn to feel and know oneself, is directed by Marie-France. Made in the Tapis de Dénia since 2011.
Origami workshop: make figures with paper, cardboard and napkins to strengthen the development of spatial capacity, as well as promote order and manual skill, is the objective of this workshop that has been taught for nine years at the Tapis de Dénia facilities. Raúl Ayala is once again in charge of directing this activity. The collaboration of the Department of Social Affairs of the Dénia City Council, some individuals and the volunteers of the IES Maria Ibars, makes this project possible.
