La Condemned to Curb Association For the tenth year in a row, it holds workshops aimed at users of the Workshop on Pre-employment Adaptation and Social Insertion (TAPIS) of Dénia. The fundamental objective is to promote the social skills of its users and are possible thanks to the collaboration of the Department of Social Welfare of the City of Dénia, some individuals and many volunteers.
For this course, a total of four workshops have been launched that favor the full inclusion of the collective in different activities, as evidenced by the fact that three of the people who run the workshops are people with disabilities.
The physical conditioning workshop takes place at the Dénia sports center on Thursday mornings and its objective is to improve the health and quality of life of its users through the practice of physical exercise. Another of the workshops is the group dynamics that has been carried out since the 2007 year in the facilities of the IES Maria Ibars, directed by Jimmy Higueras. It involves more than 40 people and volunteers from the center. Its objective is to foster relationships among all its participants and to sensitize the school community to the needs of people with disabilities.
Also, for the seventh consecutive year, the Chikung workshop is held. Directed by Marie-France, in order to strengthen the body on a physical, mental and spiritual level.
Finally, the manager of the origami workshop for the eighth consecutive year is Raúl Ayala. Strengthening the development of spatial capacity, as well as promoting order and manual skill, making figures with paper, cardboard and napkins, are some of the objectives pursued in this workshop.
