Undeniably it recognizes the impressive work done throughout the year the association Condemned to CurbDirected by Jimmy Higueras and that it helps the integration of people with disabilities. If during the school year they give their users the option of practicing sports in the School of Adapted Sports, in summer they do not fall short and have organized, for the second year, the program «Disfrutando del verano».
This program, which was born in response to demand from parents for this service will be held at the premises of IES María Ibars, who selflessly gives access to the Association, during the months of July and August.
He explains its coordinator, «Disfrutando del verano» This year it incorporates an important novelty: the group work carried out by four monitors and several volunteers. They will be responsible for carrying out activities with two groups of 10 to 12 young, on Tuesdays and Thursdays, for three hours in the morning, while on Wednesdays they will work with a group of adults.
Regarding the work of individual users, aimed at people with severe disabilities and with many difficulties to perform tasks with some autonomy, activities will focus particularly on multisensory room, but if people who need have no possibility to move, the monitor will go to their homes.
This second edition of the program «Disfrutando del verano» complete with respites weekend, where users travel to Valencia and Moraira, among other destinations, allowing families to download the resposabilidad.
