Citizens proposes a 'Blue Week' to promote sailing among schoolchildren

Ciudadanos Dénia, the party headed by councilor Mari Martínez, is working on a series of proposals to boost the local economy, and has presented the Blue week, A project seeking to promote water sports among schoolchildren across the country and enhance the Dianense environment.

As explained, the Blue week "It is a week of promotion of water sports aimed at school children in which they can learn the practice of the different modalities: sailing, paddle surfing, windsurfing and canoeing; as well as the different related knowledge: nautical, meteorology and environment."

The objective would pursue the Blue week it would be too "generate coexistence among young people from all over Spain "during the days of the activity.

Mari Martinez explained that "We have the sea and the sun, we have the knowledge, the people and the facilities, and it is about putting all that in place for the enjoyment of the visitors and the development of our local economy."

According to point from Citizens initiative "Well done, it would bring schoolchildren from all over Spain, including foreigners, who in a series of consecutive weeks in the off season would serve to seasonally adjust the local tourism, involving the nautical, hospitality and tourism sector, and setting up an interesting subsequent claim for all the families".

To start this activity, from the party there are already planned a series of meetings with Marina de Dénia, the Real Club Náutico and the Association of Tourism and Hospitality Entrepreneurs (AEHTMA) to coordinate an action that they also intend to include in their electoral program.

Happy for the district of Les Roques

Mari Martínez has been satisfied that the City Council finally begins with the improvement work in the Les Roques neighborhood, since the residents have been warned not to park their vehicles in the areas that are going to be redeveloped.

Of course, the mayor has requested that the city provide alternative parking or at least report the options so that the transition is as smooth as possible.
