Citizens proposes a 'Blue Week' to promote sailing among schoolchildren

As explained, the Blue week "It is a week of promotion of water sports aimed at school children in which they can learn the practice of the different modalities: sailing, paddle surfing, windsurfing and canoeing; as well as the different related knowledge: nautical, meteorology and environment."

Mari Martinez explained that "We have the sea and the sun, we have the knowledge, the people and the facilities, and it is about putting all that in place for the enjoyment of the visitors and the development of our local economy."

To start this activity, a series of meetings with the Marina de Denia, The Royal Nautical Club and the Association of Tourists and Hosteleros (AEHTMA) to coordinate an action that they also intend to include in their electoral program.

Happy for the district of Les Roques

Mari Martínez has been satisfied that the City Council finally begins with the improvement work in the Les Roques neighborhood, since the residents have been warned not to park their vehicles in the areas that are going to be redeveloped.

Of course, the mayor has requested that the city provide alternative parking or at least report the options so that the transition is as smooth as possible.
