Denia is a city that arouses many concerns, more in the world of sport, causing double or triple the clubs in the same discipline. We have lived in times past in football with three entities; CD Dénia, At. Dénia and FB Denia. In basketball, with the Dénia Básquet and Marists or in athletics with the Athletics Club Baleària Diànium and the Franc Beneyto Runner. Now it's time for futsal.
A new project has been launched, with the creation of the Club Fútbol Sala Dianense. He comes from the hand of José Luis Mengual and Jaime Moreno, who spent many years in this sport, linked to the Municipal School Futsal, one coordinator and one as a coach. Mengual not many seasons ago he was directing the school of the Elche CF, doing a great work in the quarry of the set of ilicitano.
The new club is totally disassociated from the Municipal School of Futsal, although indirectly born from it. Parents of pupils who have or have had their children in it, are those who are part of the directive of the CFS Dianense.
Through the social networks of this new club, José Luis Mengual, explains that "We saw with the passage of time that the boys who finished as juveniles ended up abandoning the practice of futsal and it was a shame. Many of them practiced it from the age of six or seven. Some managed to play in Acydma League and other teams in the local Pego League. Playing in 2ºB with the Dénia Fútsal is very complicated by the high level of its players and the competition. That is why we took a step forward, with the help of some people we have created the Dianense Futsal Club".
This club debut in First Regional where they will face teams from Orihuela, Mutxamel, Villena and Elche, cities that have a great tradition of football.
Jaime Moreno, is in charge of the creation of a young team composed of players who know perfectly. He is trying to have a powerful and compensated team to keep him in the middle of the season. Moreno is closing the hiring of a coach who knows the players to make the best of each of them.
CFS Dianense joins the Dénia Futsal, Team that militates in the Second Division "B", and to the Paidos, Whose flagship is the youth team. The fact that there are three different clubs weakens the sport, it would be much more productive work together to give a great structure futsal in Dénia. From that moment there is no doubt that this sport would be at the top of the national panorama, being the city a clear reference in the whole country.
