The best riders on the international scene will meet tomorrow at the Equestrian Center Olive nova (CEON) to compete in the Autumn Mediterranean Equestre Tour 2016.
This is the fifth edition of the jumping competition held in the fall and the first of which will last four weeks, lasting until November's 13. It is expected that some 3.500 horses and 285 riders and Amazons participate in this competition that has established itself as one of the most important appointments of the international equestrian calendar. This sporting event will be a real attraction for fans and the general public of the entire Valencian Community.
Athletes from over 30 countries will participate in the Gold, Silver and Bronze categories (gold, silver and bronze), as well as in young horse competitions; between all of them 471.000 euros will be distributed in prizes. In addition, twelve of the competitions that are disputed during the tour are punctual for the Longines World Ranking. Some of the best-known names of the equestrian will be present in Oliva Nova during the Autumn MET: riders such as the Dutchman Vincent Voorn or the Belgian Constant Van Paesschen and Amazons such as Katharina Offel, from Germany or Emma Augier from the Czech Republic.
