CDL: The City Council has restarted the works of the "cover-up" collectors

19 December 2012 - 00: 00

The City of Dénia has restarted the works of the collectors in the area of the cemetery road and the Caragussos departure and, according to the CDL, has done so under the sway of the opposition and the rest of the government team.

The works, carried out by the UTE Arción and Cantera del Vértice for the Confederación Hidrográfica del Júcar, had an approximate budget of 10 million euros to carry out the primary sewerage network of Montgó, Las Rotas and its connection to the WWTP but were paralyzed in June before the complaints of the CDL and the neighborhood associations that argued low quality of the work, damage to the pavement, security problems and lack of payment from the Confederation.

Now, these problems are added to those caused in the Dénia Industrial Park, as denounced by the CDL, and the poor state of the works as reported by the neighbors: "the ditches are sinking and the pipes are filling with sand."
