On Saturday 13 November at 20: 30 hours Social Center, will begin the flamenco show "Echoes of the soul", in charge of Spanish Ballet of Julia Grecos.
Julia Grecos
Dancer and choreographer, has worked in the flamenco show the Colmao of Valencia and with several companies in Spain and abroad, including the Company of Rafael Aguilar. Throughout his career he has created choreographies and shows for important productions and has worked several times on television. In 1994 he forms his own company, with which he opens the IV Flamenco Festival at the Palau de la Música with a work created by it, "Emotions Flamencas"Nominated for Awards for the Performing Arts in Valencia in the category of best dance show.
In 2008, Julia Grecos received Pedro River Award in recognition of his career in the world of dance. Since the creation of his company, his motto has been, "A different way to see and feel the flamenco". She is currently a Spanish dance teacher at the Higher Conservatory of Dance of Valencia and head of studies at the center. He combines his teaching work with the performances of his company.
Echoes of the Soul
Ecos del Alma is A journey through feelings full of memories and experiences with touches of nostalgia, surprise and joy. It contains intercultural elements that merge and transform, revealing the mystery and magic of flamenco. In this work, both Greek music and dance, as well as African influence, end up being flamenco clubs. It is like a melting pot where there is a common thread that unites the cultural elements, separated by thousands of kilometers, in a single mission manifested in the echoes of art, the Echoes of the Soul ...
