The dance school Babylon School of Dance has participated in the regional phase of the National Dance Competition, held in Xàtiva on March 2 and 3, this being the 15th edition in which they have participated.
With a diverse group of students ages 8-18, Babylon is proud to having participated in a variety of disciplines ranging from Classical Dance to Urban Dance, including Spanish Dance and Fusion Style. With a total of 42 performances, its talented artists left an indelible mark on the stage.
A large number of prizes won
The results of your participation are truly outstanding. In Classic dance, have won 11 first prizes, highlighting 5 of them with special mention, in addition to 2 second prizes.
En Contemporary dance, we have achieved excellence with 5 first prizes, including 3 with special mentions, and 1 second prize in both the individual and group categories.
The contagious energy of urban dance also made itself felt, with 3 first individual prizes, one of them with special mention, as well as 3 second prizes and 1 third prize.
At the group level, they won 4 first prizes, two of them with special mention. The Spanish Dance and Fusion Style They also shined with 1 first prize each, accompanied by special mentions and second prizes in individual and group categories.
With a total of 74 students classified for the national phase to be held in Burgos Next May, Babylon is preparing to take his art to the next level. The school's director, Mayte Ortolá, along with her team, states that she "wishes to extend her most sincere congratulations to all the students for their dedication and unparalleled talent."
Furthermore, they express their deep gratitude to the families for their support, which has been fundamental in this journey of growth and fulfillment.
