Art and style of our biggest contest. The Department of Mayor of the City of Dénia has launched DéniaBaila 2017, A dance contest for couples for over 60 years 13 to be held on May in the auditorium of the Social Center of Denia.
Those interested in participating can register between the 30 in January and the 24 in February at the Office of the Major, located on the second floor of the Social Center. Among all those registered, 12 will be selected by casting people who will receive dance and aesthetic classes before the contest for several weeks, taught by Patricia de Juan, a dance teacher in the Classrooms of the Third Age; Noemí Fornas, responsible for the hairdressing of the Social Center; Miguel Ángel Ivars, aesthetic consultant and the academy of hairdressing and aesthetics Loles Brito.
Participants will choose the style of dance that will compete, as well as the costumes, makeup and hair that look in his performance. The duration of the piece may not exceed four minutes.
The jury DéniaBaila 2017 will be composed of professionals from the artistic, socio-cultural and communication world and their scores will assess the expressiveness, originality and showmanship of the performance, the rapport and charisma of couples, the variety of steps and figures and dance technique and choreography prepared by the contestants.
