The City Council will lower the IBI tax rate by half a point in 2018

17 October 2017 - 16: 54

The municipal government will approve this Thursday, in extraordinary plenary session, a series of modifications in several fiscal ordinances currently in force. The most important is the decrease, in half a point, of the tax rate of the Property Tax (IBI), which will go from 1% to 0'95%.

This decrease is intended to offset the increase in the receipt after the updating of the cadastral values carried out by the Ministry of Finance and will start to be applied as of 1 in January of 2018.

New prices on the parking cards of Les Roques

Likewise, in response to the demands expressed by the neighbors in the neighborhood meetings, modifications will be included in the tax ordinance regulating the fee for issuing administrative documents, specifically in the section related to the resident vehicle card, implemented this same year in the neighborhood of Les Roques.

The proposed changes reduce the renewal rate of the annual card by half, which is set at 7 euros. It is also established that the renewal of the annual resident parking card for mopeds, motorcycles and bicycles will be free of charge. The card issuance fee is kept at 14 euros.
