The City Council of Dénia has awarded this week the contract for the construction of a pedestrian path in zone I of the Bosc de Diana public park between the Camí dels Lladres, the Joan Fuster avenue and the Camí de Sant Joan. The project, drawn up by the municipal area of Parks and Gardens, aims to promote the use and enjoyment of the park, favoring the walk through an area that currently lacks pavement, so that spontaneous vegetation covers its route and makes it difficult to use by part of the pedestrians, especially after a rainy season, when the terrain becomes impractical.
For this reason, it is planned to create an interior path of about 363 linear meters that will begin in the left area of the main entrance to the park, will go through a large part of the left margin of the enclosure, will then turn to the right to skirt the small hills and will return to the point.
The works will consist of the construction of a concrete curb that delimits the road, the minimum width of which will be 2,5 meters and the maximum, in some areas, 5 meters; filling and compacting the surface of the path; and the pre-installation of the irrigation and lighting system in the area.
The works have been awarded to the company Categor Obras y Proyectos SL for a budget of 101.230,21 euros, VAT included, and with an execution period of 4 months.
